Seminar “My State, My Brazil, Our IBGE” celebrates IBGE’s 90 Years in Minas Gerais

As part of the celebrations marking the IBGE's 90 years, the state of Tocantins is hosting the "My State, My Brazil, Our IBGE" seminar on June 18. The event will take place from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the State Superintendency of the IBGE in Belo Horizonte.
The initiative aims to strengthen dialogue with public and private institutions as well as civil society, highlighting the importance of statistical and geoscientific information for the country's planning and development.
Each state will host a seminar featuring an approach that values local experiences, the work of staff members, and partnerships with regional institutions, demonstrating how the IBGE is built at the national level based on the unique characteristics of each state.
The State Thematic Seminars will cover nine thematic areas reflecting the diversity and complexity of the activities carried out by the Institute throughout its history: Administration activities; Data Collection; Dissemination; Geosciences; Partnerships; Surveys; State Superintendencies and Agencies; Technology; and Training and Education.
