Agricultural activities developed in urban areas help increase the income of families and make city environment fresher, changing a setting characterized by the toughness of concrete and asphalt. Green areas in urban localities have gained visibility worldwide, with the support of international bodies such as the United Nations (ONU), for they are a source of food and also promote environmental improvement.
