IBGE releases weekly schedule of activities for July 20–24

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released the IBGE Schedule today (the 20th) for the week of July 20–24. This edition covers internal and external meetings, events, and appointments across various areas of the Institute—ranging from the Presidency, Directorates, and Advisory Offices to State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been published every Monday at 9:00 am, covering the schedule for the days following the publication date. See all the activities on the IBGE Schedule information channel.
Presidency
On Monday (20), at 10:00 am, members of the Presidency will participate in a management meeting with the General Coordination of Census Operations (CGOC).
On Tuesday (21), at 4:00 pm, representatives from the Presidency will attend a regular meeting regarding the schedule for the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry, and Aquaculture.
On Wednesday (22), at 9:30 am, the Presidency team will participate in a progress meeting with the Operational Database (BDO) team.
On Thursday (23), at 2:00 pm, representatives from the Presidency will attend the weekly Technical Alignment meeting for the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry, and Aquaculture.
Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (20), throughout the day, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the 16th World Congress of Rural Sociology and the 64th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Rural Economics, Management, and Sociology.
On Tuesday (21), throughout the day, members of the DPE will participate in the 16th World Congress of Rural Sociology and the 64th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Rural Economics, Management, and Sociology.
On Wednesday (22), throughout the day, members of the DPE will participate in the 16th World Congress of Rural Sociology and the 64th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Rural Economics, Management, and Sociology.
On Thursday (23), throughout the day, members of the DPE will participate in the 16th World Congress of Rural Sociology and the 64th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Rural Economics, Management, and Sociology.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (20), at 8:00 am, representatives from the State Superintendency of Pará (SES/PA) will conduct data collection and supervision for the month of July regarding the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNAdC) at the Santarém Agency. On Tuesday (21) at 8:00 am, staff from the Piauí State Superintendency will conduct data collection for the monthly surveys (PMC and PMS) at the Parnaíba Agency.
On Wednesday (22) at 9:00 am, the team from the Minas Gerais State Superintendency (SES/MG) will finalize data collection for the National System of Consumer Price Index (SNIPC).
On Thursday (23), throughout the day, staff from the Rio Grande do Norte State Superintendency (SES/RN) will carry out PNS activities in Caicó and Cruzeta.
On Friday (24) at 8:00 am, representatives from the Ceará State Superintendence (SES/CE) will hold a meeting to monitor and plan activities at the Tianguá Agency.
