  • Highlights

  • The reimbursement will be made through a bank order associated with the name and CPF of the candidates.
  • It is recommended that the candidates go to the nearest Banco do Brasil branch in the first day to withdraw the value.
  • Nearly 40 thousand persons did not withdraw the value in the first call of the reimbursement.

Candidates enrolled in the simplified selection process for the 2020 Census who still did not request or did not receive the reimbursement of the enrollment rate should go to a Banco do Brasil branch between October 26 and 30 to withdraw the corresponding value. The reimbursement will be made through a bank order associated with the name and CPF of the candidates, i.e., only the candidates themselves can withdraw the value by showing an official id or the CPF. Nearly 40 thousand persons did not withdraw the values in the first call of the reimbursement.

The value can be withdrawn in any Banco do Brasil branch in the national territory, except in the Estilo branches. In case the CPF is inconsistent in the Federal Revenue, the value cannot be withdrawn, as well as in case of cancellation due to death. It is recommended that the candidates go to the nearest Banco do Brasil branch in the first day to withdraw the value.

The simplified selection process for the functions of municipal census agents (ACMs), supervisor census agents (ACSs) and enumerators was canceled in March, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since May 12, R$2,823,775.95 related to 100,735 paid registrations began to be reimbursed. The rates were R$35.80 for the secondary education positions (ACMs and ACSs) and R$23.61 for the primary education positions (enumerators).

Besides the extensive release in the press, Internet, social media and IBGE´s official channels, emails were sent to all the beneficiaries informing on the availability of the resources for reimbursement. Since the beginning of the reimbursement, nearly 60% of the candidates already withdrawn their values. Once again, candidates will be warned either by email or SMS on the new opportunity to withdraw the values.

The bank orders will be available during five business days (between October 26 and 30). In case they are not withdrawn in this period, they will be returned to the IBGE and will remain unavailable until the values are reprocessed. The deadline is an internal procedure established by Banco do Brasil. The values will be reimbursed only in this way and there will not be another way of reimbursement during this period.

The IBGE´s service channels, through telephone 0800 721 8181 or email ibge@ibge.gov.br, remain available for those looking for more information and clarification.
