The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) has just launched the third edition of the Casa Brasil IBGE Magazine, an institutional publication that reaffirms the Institute´s commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and the valorization of internal production.

The new edition marks an evolution in the way of communicating in the Digital Era: in addition to traditional texts and images, the magazine now has multimedia resources accessible via QR Code, allowing the reader to explore complementary contents like videos and photo galleries that enrich the stories and interviews.

“In this new edition, we take another step towards innovation in public communication. The magazine incorporates digital and multimedia resources that expand the reader's experience and make the content even more dynamic and accessible. This evolution reflects our continuous effort to dialog with society in a modern, transparent and inclusive way,” highlighted the president of the IBGE, Marcio Pochmann.

Another highlight is the integration of new officers into the editorial project. Approved in the unified public contest, these professionals are already working in the IBGE units across the country and begin to contribute directly with the magazine, bringing diversity, energy and new perspectives to the team.

The Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census is the highlight, in addition to texts about the IBGE's presence at COP30 and an interview about artificial intelligence and its safe use in statistical analysis.

The Casa Brasil IBGE Magazine is part of a larger space — Casa Brasil — that brings together memory and technology, connecting different areas of the Institute in a narrative that encompasses past, present and future. The publication is aimed at multiple audiences, from students and researchers to public managers and citizens interested in better understanding Brazil revealed by the IBGE data.

With this new edition, the Institute reinforces its role as a public communication agent, democratizing access to quality information and bringing society even closer to the work carried out by Ibgeans.
