IBGE makes available its weekly Schedule for September 15-19

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (15) the IBGE Schedule for the week of September 15-19. The document covers internal and external meetings, events, and appointments of the various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Boards, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since last year, the IBGE Schedule has been released every Monday at 9:00 am and covers the activities for the coming days, starting on the date of publication. Check out the complete schedule of the Institute on the IBGE Schedule news channel.
Presidency
On Monday (15), at 9 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in a Workshop about the application of the urbanization Level (DEGURBA) for the production of comparable urban data in Brazil – ONU-Habitat.
On Tuesday (16), at 8:30 am, members of the Presidency participate in the Opening Table of the XII National Meeting for Civil Registry Promotion and Access to Basic Documents. At 2 pm, there will be a meeting with the Directorate of Monitoring of Public Policies of the Secretariat 14h, a reunião será com a Diretoria deof Institutional Relations of the Presidency of the Republic.
On Wednesday (17), at 9:30 am, the Presidency will participate in the international Seminar of the National Trade Union of Workers in the Education Sector, “Dialogues on situations, challenges and actions for Brazil in the world".
On Thursday (18), at 9 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in the 46th National Congress on Labor Law and in the 19th Latin American Meeting of Labor Law.
On Friday (19), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will meet with the Risk Management Group in the Agricultural, Forestry and Acquaculture Census - Payment System for temporary workers.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (15), a team from the National Schoo of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will be attending the 53rd Brazilian Congress of Education in Engineering - COBENGE 2025.
On Tuesday (16), at 9 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey. At 10:30 am, the Executive Directorate (DE) will meet with th Census of Agriculture technical committee.
On Wednesday (17), members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the WG Steering Committee Meeting, with representatives of the Washington Group on Disability Statistics. At 8:30 am, a team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participates in the Ordinary Meeting of the 2022 Census Technical Committee.
On Thursday (18), at 3:30 pm, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will be at the Mission for Sanremo, Italy.
On Friday (19), at 10 am, a team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a meeting of the IBGE's Adequacy Committee to the General Data Protection Law.
And also at 10 am, members of the Executive Directorate (DE) will meet with the census risk commission.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (15), at 10 am, members of the State Superintendency of Rio Grande do Sul (SES/RS) will participate in the launch of the Special Survey on Floods (PEERS) - 2024.
On Tuesday (16), at 10 am, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will be in a lecture about the System of Urban and Territorial Development of Campo Grande.
On Wednesday (17), at 2 pm, representatives of the IBGE State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL) will promote an IBGE workshop at Colégio 29 de Julho (school).
On Thursday (18), at 8:30 pm, members of the IBGE State Superintendency in Tocantins (SES/TO) will receive newly hired employees for a CNEFE training at the Palmas branch.
On Friday (19), at 8 am, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Goiás (SES/GO) will conduct gravimetric surveys.
