IBGE releases weekly schedule with activities from September 1 to 5

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (1) the IBGE Schedule for the week of September 1st to 5th. The edition covers internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from the various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Boards, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
For the past year, the IBGE Schedule has been released every Monday at 9:00 am and has covered the calendar for the coming days, starting on the date of publication. See the full IBGE schedule on the IBGE Schedule news channel.
Presidency
On Monday (1), at 10:00 am, the Presidency team will conduct training on the Travel Allowance and Airfare Grant System (SCDP) for new servants. At 2:30 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting to discuss Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicator 17.19.2, on Partnerships and Means of Implementation.
On Tuesday (2), at 10:30 am, members of the Presidency will participate in a meeting of the Technical Committee of the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry, and Aquaculture.
On Wednesday (3), at 9:00 am, the Presidency team will meet with representatives of the Planning and Budget Office (GPO) and the General Coordination of Census Operations (CGOC). At 2:00 pm, representatives of the Presidency will meet with teams from the State Superintendencies to discuss the 12th Census of Agriculture.
On Thursday (4), at 2:00 p.m., the Presidency team will participate in a weekly meeting on the Census Operations Schedule.
On Friday (5), at 2:00 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting of the 12th Census of Agriculture Working Group.
Directorate and Advisory Boards
On Monday (1), at 10:00 am, the Executive Board (DE) team will participate in a meeting on Social Security Compensation (COMPREV) with representatives of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). At 2:00 pm, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will present an online seminar on the National System of Costs Survey and Inexes of Construction(SINAPI) at the North-Northeast Construction Industry Forum in Pará.
On Tuesday (2), at 9:00 am, the Department of Social Communication (CCS) will host an online press conference on the System of Quarterly National Accounts (SCNT). At 3:00 pm, representatives of the DPE will participate in a meeting with staff from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
On Wednesday (3), throughout the day, the DPE team will be present at the 62nd General Culture Meeting. At 9:00 am, the online press conference for the Monthly Industrial Survey: Physical Production - Brazil (PIM-PF) will be held at the CCS office. At the same time, professors from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will give a lecture about Project Exper at the Brazilian College of Advanced Studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
On Thursday (4), at 2:00 pm, members of the DPE will meet with representatives from the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA). At the same time, professors from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will attend an event at the Darcy Ribeiro Northern Fluminense State University (UENF).
On Friday (5), at 10:00 am, representatives from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a meeting of the IBGE's Committee for Compliance with the General Data Protection Law (CLGPD). At the same time, members of ENCE will participate in an Artificial Intelligence Applied to Public Policies (IAPP) event hosted by the Center for Public Policy Studies (NEPP).
State Superintendencies
On Monday (1), at 9:30 am, representatives from the Mato Grosso State Superintendency (SES/MT) will participate in the Regional Labor Court (TRT) Mediation Course. At 11:00 am, a team from the Goiás State Superintendency (SES/GO) will participate in a meeting with the Goiânia Municipal Environmental Agency.
On Tuesday (2), at 2 pm, representatives from the Alagoas State Superintendency (SES/AL) will host an IBGE Educa workshop at the Cest School in Maceió.
On Wednesday (3), at 8 am, a team from the Rio Grande do Sul State Superintendency (SES/RS) will be present at the 48th Expointer - Esteio International Exhibition Fair.
On Thursday (4), at 8 am, members of the Mato Grosso do Sul State Superintendency (SES/MS) will hold a workshop on IBGE digital tools for Business Administration students at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS).
