In celebration of IBGE's 90th anniversary, the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso will hold a public hearing on June 16th at 9:00 am in honor of the Institute. The event will take place in the Plenary Hall of Deliberations in Cuiabá.

The initiative highlights IBGE's role as a fundamental institution for understanding Brazilian reality, contributing to the strengthening of citizenship and the planning of public policies.

Founded in 1936, the IBGE has established itself as the main Brazilian institution in the production of statistical, geographic, cartographic, geodetic and environmental information, fundamental for understanding the national reality and planning public policies.
