Seminar "My State, My Brazil, Our IBGE” celebrates 90 years of IBGE in Rio Grande do Norte

As part of the celebrations for IBGE's 90th anniversary, Rio Grande do Norte will host the seminar "My State, My Brazil, Our IBGE" on June 11th. The event will take place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in the auditorium of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), at the headquarters of the Regional Superintendence in Natal.
The initiative seeks to strengthen dialogue with public and private institutions and civil society, highlighting the importance of statistical and geoscientific information for the country's planning and development.
Each Federation Unit will host a seminar, with an approach that values local experiences, the work of civil servants, and partnerships with regional institutions, demonstrating how the IBGE is built nationally from state singularities. The detailed schedule of the events will be released soon.
The State Thematic Seminars will cover nine thematic areas, reflecting the diversity and complexity of the activities developed by the Institute throughout its history: Administrative activities; Data Collection; Dissemination; Geosciences; Partnerships; Surveys; State Superintendencies and Agencies; Technology and Training.
