he exhibition Casa Brasil IBGE - Space of memory and technology of the largest research institution in Brazil will take place next week, from March 25 to 27, at the Space Mario Covas, in the House of Representatives, Brasília (DF). It will open at 10 am and will close at 4 pm, free of charge.

In the exhibition, congressmen, authorities, officers, students and visitors of the House of Representatives will have the opportunity to research data and view the archive of IBGE surveys in interactive panels and totems.

Marcio Pochmann, President of the IBGE, highlighted that "the IBGE, as an institution of the Brazilian State, is submitted to budget decisions that the Federal Parliament approves every year based on a proposal suggested by the Executive Power. It is fair to be in the Parliament briefly showing the impressive and qualified work developed by more than 10.5 thousand IBGEans for the country."

Gabriel Antonaciio, the IBGE Superintendent in the Federal District, highlighted that "the participation of the IBGE at the Space Mario Covas, in the House of Representatives, is an action of great importance to provide visibility to the work we carry out for nearly 90 years on behalf of Brazil. To show our surveying and other institutional actions to qualified visitors and representatives reinforces the importance of the IBGE in the production of key information for the formulation of public policies and for the development of the country."
