POF data collection teams start field operation: watch the video

The Consumer Expenditure Survey 2024/2025, which started on November 05, is now in the field for data collection. More than 100 thousand housing units will be visited all over the national territory in coming months, in order to describe the routine of families, as informed during the press conference for the launch of POF, promoted by the IBGE.
In this seventh edition, POF will investigate not only earnings and individual expenditure and of housing units, but also other topics, such as food security and quality of living of Brazilians. The IBGE News Agency prepared an audiovisual presentation about the objectives of the survey.
