Released today (2), the IBGE Schedule includes the Institute's activities for the week of September 2 to 6. The edition made available includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, the IBGE Directorates and Advisory Boards, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

The IBGE Schedule was launched in January and is released every Monday at 9 am. The Institute's full schedule is available on the IBGE Schedule news channel.

Presidency

Representatives of the Presidency participate in the opening panel of the Symposium "Strategic Action of the National Health Foundation (FUNASA): the search for methodological and technological innovations for municipal basic sanitation plans", on Monday (2), at 8:30 am.

On Tuesday (3), at 8 am, the Presidency participates in the 35th Meeting of the High-Level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity Building in Statistics for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (HLG-PCCB). At 10 am, it will participate in the INTERCOM Conference: Panel "Artificial Intelligence, Communication and Information Security: Public Policies and Knowledge Production”.

Also on Tuesday, at 2 pm, the Presidency team will participate in a meeting with the Ministry of Labor and Employment on SDG Indicators 8 and 16. At 3 pm, the team will participate in a meeting at the IBGE State Superintendency in Santa Catarina (SES/SC).

On Wednesday (4), at 10 am, the Presidency will participate in a meeting with the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). At 11:30 am, the President of the IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, will participate in a ceremony to join the portal called “Brasiliana Fotográfica”, at the National Library Foundation, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). At 3 pm, there will be a meeting with the City Hall of Mangaratiba (RJ).

On Thursday (5), at 9:00 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in the Fifth World Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Cooperation Agreement and Sustainable Development, in Rio de Janeiro. At 10:00 am, a meeting will be held with the Petrobrás Social Security Foundation (Petros). At 5:30 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in an online meeting with representatives of the Federal Data Processing Service (SERPRO), the Social Security Information and Technology Company (Dataprev), and the Brazilian Telecommunications Company (TELEBRAS).

Directorate and Advisory Boards

On Monday (2), at 8:00 am, the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) team will participate in a meeting with the Special Purpose Entities (SPEs). At 10:00 am, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team will participate in an online meeting of the Socioeconomic Indicators Management Committee (CGI) of the Interagency Health Information Network (RIPSA). Throughout the day, the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) team will participate in Training for the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (CINDE).

On Tuesday (3), at 8 am, the ENCE team will participate in an event on innovation initiatives in the legal field, held in São Paulo (SP). At 9 am, the Executive Board (DE) will participate in a meeting of the technical committee of the Census of Agriculture. On the same day and time, the team from the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) will participate in a meeting of the UN Task Team on Mobile Phone Data.

Also on Tuesday, at 10 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) will hold an online press conference on the System of Quarterly National Accounts (GDP), with a reference period for the 2nd quarter of 2024. At 2 pm, ENCE representatives will participate in an event at the National School of Public Administration (Enap). At the same time, the ENCE team will participate in a meeting to present the 2nd product to the National Supply Company (Conab). At 3:30 pm, representatives from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a meeting with the National Centre for Early Warning and Monitoring  of Natural Disasters (CEMADEN).

On Wednesday (4), the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team will participate in a meeting with technicians from the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA). The meeting is expected to last all day. At 7 am, the ENCE team will participate in a meeting with the Public Leadership Center (CLP). At 10 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) will hold an online press conference for the Monthly Industrial Survey: Physical Production (PIM Brasil), with a reference period of July 2024. At 2 pm, the ENCE team will participate in a follow-up meeting with the Statistics teams from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) consultancy.

On Thursday, at 1:00 pm, representatives from ENCE will participate in a consultation meeting on the Use of Big Data. At 3:00 pm, representatives from the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) will participate in a meeting of the Regional HUB Technical Group.

On Friday (6), the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) team will participate in the 2022 Population Census Disclosure Event: Types of collective, improvised, occasional-use and vacant housing units. The event will be held at Casa Brasil IBGE, in Rio de Janeiro. At 9 am, the ENCE team participates in a meeting of the Project Artificial Intelligence in Public Policies. At 2 pm, the DGC team participates in the technical workshop for Managers and Users.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (2), at 8 am, representatives of the Bahia State Superintendency (SES/BA) participate in the campaign for the continuity of the RBMC stations in Ilhéus, Vitória da Conquista and Teixeira de Freitas. Throughout the day, representatives of the Paraná State Superintendency (SES/PR) give a lecture on the IBGE in the Social Service course at the State University of Ponta Grossa.

On Tuesday (3), a team from the State Superintendency of Goiás (SES/GO) will participate in a meeting to seek cooperation in accessing administrative information from Ceasa Goiás.

On Wednesday (4), at 3 pm, representatives from the State Superintendency of Bahia (SES/BA) will participate in a meeting with representatives from the Bahia pela Paz Program, about the results of the 2022 Census on young people.
