Civil construction prices hit the top in the year

After registering the second consecutive high, construction prices in June reached the highest level of the year, 0.58%, standing 0.03 percentage points above the 0.55% recorded in May. The information is from the National Index of Construction (Sinapi), released today by the IBGE.
The prices of construction materials, which in June changed by 0.56%, influenced the growth of the index when registering a rise of 0.29 percentage points in relation to May.
Even with the collective agreements reached in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco and Bahia, the labor force changed 0.61%, standing - 0.25 percentage points below May (0.86%).
Among the Major Regions, the South had the highest monthly change (0.88%) and Rio Grande do Sul was the state with the biggest result (1.59%), followed by Santa Catarina (1.53%), Pernambuco (1.29%) and Bahia (1.16%).
