IBGE releases weekly Schedule with activities from December 15 to 19

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (December 8th) released the IBGE Schedule for the week of December 8 to 12. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments of several areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Offices, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule has been published every Monday at 9 am, and includes the calendar for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the all the activities on the IBGE Schedule information channel.
Presidency
On Monday (December 15th), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will hold a management meeting of the General Coordination of Census Operations.
On Tuesday (December 16th), at 2 pm, the Presidency team will participate in a meeting on IBGE's Innovation Policy.
On Wednesday (17), at 2 pm, representatives from the Presidency will participate in the IBGE Seminar - Survey Methodologies on Time Use and Gender Statistics.
On Thursday (18), during the whole day, members of the Presidency will participate in the event First Global Workshop for 2026 Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs): Supporting evidence-based VNRs, in Rome.
On Friday (19), at 9 am, the Presidency team will participate in a meeting of the Census Planning and General Organization Commission.
Directorates and Advisory Offices
On Monday (15), at 10 am, members of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in the WG-Routes meeting (Transportation Logistics Survey).
On Tuesday (16), at 2:30 pm, representatives from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a meeting with Banco do Brasil regarding the 12th Census of Agriculture, Forestry and Aquaculture.
On Wednesday (17), during the whole day, members of the DPE will participate in the First Global Workshop for 2026 VNRs, in Rome.
On Thursday (18), at 10 am, the Social Communication Division (CCS) team will release the survey on Private Foundations and Non-Profit Associations in Brazil – 2023.
On Friday (19), at 10 am, the CCS team will release the Gross Domestic Product of Municipalities - Brazil - 2022-2023.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (15), during the whole day, representatives from the State Superintendency of Espírito Santo (SES/ES) will be collecting data in the agencies across the state.
On Tuesday (16), at 4:30 pm, members of the State Superintendency of Rio Grande do Sul (SES/RS) will be holding a meeting for the Survey of Agricultural Production (LSPA) in the municipality of Chuí.
On Wednesday (17), at 11 am, the team from the State Superintendency of Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will be collecting data in the agencies across the state.
On Thursday (18), during the whole day, members of the State Superintendency of São Paulo (SES/SP) will be conducting interviews for the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNAD Contínua) in the municipalities of Itajobi and Pindorama.
On Friday (19), at 9:30 am, representatives from the State Superintendence of Minas Gerais (SES/MG) will hold a meeting to prepare and develop the project for the Informant Web Module of the Structural Surveys by Company.
