Comunicado - Esclarecimento sobre possíveis golpes envolvendo inscrições nos Processo Seletivo para APM e SCQ (2)

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) would like to warn the applicants of the Simplified Selection Processes (PSS) for Survey and Mapping Agent (APM) and Collection and Quality Supervisor (SCQ), currently open for registration, of possible fraud attempts.
On Friday (November 28th), fake websites simulating official pages were identified, inducing candidates to make improper payments. To avoid scams, the IBGE clarifies that:
- The only official address for registration is the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) website: https://conhecimento.fgv.br/concursos/pssibge25;
- The registration fee is R$ 38.50, and must be paid exclusively through the link available on the official website;
- There is no charge for the pre-employment medical exam;
- Registration is not carried out through the IBGE website or gov.br.
The IBGE advises candidates to be careful and not to provide personal data or make payments on unofficial websites. The purpose of this warning is to protect candidates and ensure the transparency of the selection process. In case of doubts, those interested should seek information from the official IBGE and FGV channels.
