Released today (12), the IBGE Schedule brings the schedule for the week between August 12 and 16. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments from several IBGE areas, from the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Presidency

On Monday (12), the Presidency team will travel to Piauí to participate, at 3 pm, of a meeting at the IBGE Superintendence in Piauí (SES/PI). At 7pm, representatives of the Presidency will attend an event to celebrate the Economist’s Day at the Regional Council of Economics (CORECON/PI), 22nd Region, in Piauí.

On Tuesday, at 10 am, the Presidency team will visit facilities at IBGE – Av. Chile. At 5 pm, they will have a meeting with Federal Representative Bruno Farias.

On Thursday (15), at 9h, representatives of the Presidency will join a video conference with the Technical Committee of the project Reference Centers in Africa. At 2 pm, they will have a video conference with the Finance Secretariat of Salvador and the Secretariat of Institutional Relations of the Ministry of Planning and Budget .

On Friday (16), the President team will attend an event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Federal University of Campinas (UNICAMP), during the Economics Week.

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (12), at 9 am, representatives of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in a work meeting on the Survey on Authoritarianism. At 10 am, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will join a meeting to discuss the review of the Classification of Economic Activities. At 11am, a team from ENCE will participate in a meeting of the Project Direct Money at School (PDDE). At 2 pm, representatives of ENCE will attend a meeting to discuss Public Policies in Education in Pernambuco

Also on Monday, at 3 pm, a team from DPE will meet with the Ministry of Health over the budget of the National Survey of Health (PNS). At 6 pm, a team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in a consulting meeting on the use of Big Data. Throughout the day, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will be attending a meeting for Training on National Spatial Data Infrastructure (CINDE).

On Tuesday (13), at 9:30 am, professors from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will deliver the lecture “Multicriteria Analysis”, at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). At 10 am, representatives of the Executive Directorat (DE) will attend an internal meeting of the Technical Committee for the Census of Agriculture. At the same time, at the Social Communication Coordination, there will be an online press conference about the Monthly Survey of Services (PMS). At 2 pm, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a meeting with the Federal Data Processing Service (SERPRO – RJ). At 3:30 pm, a team from DPE will attend a meeting with the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Combat to Hunger (MDS).

On Wednesday (14), at 10 am, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a Workshop on ArcGIS with IMAGEM. At the same time, at the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) there will be an online conference of the Monthly Survey of Trade (PMC). At 2pm, representatives of DGC will national Secretariat of Peripheries in the Ministry of Cities, on Addresses in peripheries, favelas and urban communities. Meanwhile, students from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH) will be delivering a lecture at the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI).

On Thursday (15), at 10am, at the Coordination of Social Communication (CCS) there will be an online press conference about the Quarterly National Household Sample Survey (PNAD Tri).

On Friday (16), representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the National Seminar "A Law for the Brazilian Creative Economy", organized by the Observatory for Creative Economy of Bahia (OBEC), at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), held in Salvador (BA), and the event is expected to last the entire day. At 10 am, a team from DPE will participate in a meeting about the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE-Subclasses).

Also on Friday, at noon, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a meeting with the Co-President and the Directorate of EG-ISGI. At 2 pm, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a meeting to discuss the Explanatory Notes of CNAE.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (12), at 9h, at the State Superintendence of São Paulo (SES/SP), there will be a course entitled Concepts and Applications of the Population Census in Public Policies, at the Osasco Branch.

On Wednesday (14), at 7:30 am, representative of the State Superintendency in São Paulo (SES/SP) will deliver a lecture about the IBGE in a school of Araçatuba.

On Thursday (15), at 2:30 pm, representatives of the State Superintendency in Bahia (SES/BA) will participate in a webinar with representatives of the Brazilian Court of Audit (TCU) on the new Manual for Competitive Bidding and Contracts.

On Friday (16), a team from the State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL) will make a presentation about the project IBGE Educa for students and teachers at Onélia Campelo State School, in Maceió (AL).
