Digital Era Conference

Successfully celebrated in the past under the title CONFEST/CONFEGE, thee Conference aims at discussing the risks and opportunities resulting from the current governance of the Digital Era, as well as at consolidating the National System of Geosciences, Statistics and Data (SINGED).

In a global context where digital inequality has taken on new dimensions, even greater than the traditional exclusion and poverty that existed in the old Industrial Era, the IBGE proposes, as a counterpart, the consolidation of SINGED through urgent, transparent, and democratic dialogue with the participation of all data producers and users, in a Conference based on three structuring axes: (i) Governance; (ii) Technology and Data; and (iii) Dissemination and Communication.

Throughout the five-day event, more than two thousand in-person and remote participants from different sectors of Brazilian society are expected to join us.

Registration is still open
