Casa Brasil IBGE opens to the public on June 3rd and bookstore has special deal

Next Monday, June 3rd, Casa Brasil IBGE will be open to the public for visits, also offering a special deal in the bookstore. For R$50.00, visitors can have a copy of the new world map with Brazil at the center of the world plus a copy of the School Geographic Atlas. The deal is only valid for physical sales and visitors buying the combo will already leave the building with the products in hand.
Visiting Casa Brasil IBGE is free and the hall is open from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm, on the ground floor of Palácio da Fazenda, located at 375, Presidente Antônio Carlos Av. – Downtown (RJ). The bookstore is open in the building's mezzanine, from 9 am to 4 pm.
For school visits, with groups of students and teachers, prior accreditation is required and scheduling must be done by filling out a form available on the Casa Brasil IBGE website.
Casa Brasil IBGE will house memory and technology, bringing together in the same environment the different areas of the Institute and its activities, so that the visitor can visualize both the IBGE's history of almost 90 years, as well as the Institute's paths and perspectives for the coming decades.
