Including internal and external meetings, releases, events and appointments from several areas, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (11) the IBGE Schedule for the week of November 11-15. This edition brings the schedule of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since January, the IBGE weekly schedule is released every Monday at 9 am. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.

Presidency

On Tuesday (12), at 10 am, the IBGE´s Presidency participates in the launching of the Portuguese edition of the book "Overcoming Poverty and Seminar on China´s and Brazil´s Governance." On the same day, at 7 pm, it takes part in the seminar "Globalization and Development: The Interpretation of Tavares", of the project of a course and book "Maria da Conceição Tavares´s Political Economy and the Brazilian Development."

On Wednesday (13), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency participate in a meeting of the Social G20 Summit. At 3:30 pm, they take part in the International Conference on Innovative Strategies for Disaster Resiliency: Strengthening the Economies of the Global South through Solution of Dynamic Governance.

On Thursday (14), at 8:30 am, representatives of the Presidency particpate in the 5th Ordinary Meeting of the National Commission for the SDGs (CNODS). At 11 am, they take part in the launching of the Environment and Maps Modules of the publication Creating Synergies between the 2030 Agenda and the G20.

Still on Thursday, at 7:15 pm, the team participates in the closing conference of the III Congress of Scientific Initiation of the Brasília Catholic University (UCB) and II Stricto Sensu Exhibition of UCB: "The IBGE and the Census." Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (11), during the entire day, a team of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) takes part in the on-line internal seminar ENCE - MUNIC (Survey of Basic Municipal Information): from 1999 to 2024. Also during the entire day, a team of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participates in the 74th National Congress of Botany. At 11 am, ENCE´s teachers take part in the on-line event "Navigating AI in our Practices in the Work in Policies Informed by Evidences."

Still on Monday, DGC representatives participate in the Regional HUB event of the project "Indicadores ambientales y de cambio climático" of the World Data Forum, in Colombia. At 2 pm, DPE representatives participate in a meeting of the 2022 Population Census Advisory Commission.

On Tuesday (12), during the entire day, DPE members take part in the 10th Ordinary Session of the "Sea GDP" Technical Group. Also during the entire day, a DPE team participates in an on-line workshop organized by the Ministry of Racial Equality (MIR). At 9 am, the Coordination of Social Communication (CCS) carries out the press release of the Monthy Survey of Trade (PMC). At 2:30 pm, a DGC team participates in a GTI-PNOT (National Policy of Land Use) bilateral meeting.

On Wednesday (13), at 9 am, the CCS will carry out the press release of the Monthly Survey of Services (PMS). At 10 am, a DGC team takes part in a meeting of Consolidation and Alignment of the Activities of Quality Control and Collection of Geographical Names in the Field.

On Thursday (14), at 9 am, ENCE´s teachers participate in the meeting "The Flow Measure: Approval Rate and How to Deal with the Problem of Children Out of School (Average Schooling Years)."

On Friday (15), at 9 am, DGC representatives take part in a meeting of the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN) with the chairs and vice-chairs of the Linguistic/Geographical Divisions.

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (11), at 9 am, representatives of the State Superintendence of Amapá (SES-AP) carry out the data workshop Urban Communities and Slums.

On Tuesday (12), at 9 am, members of the State Superintendence of Brasília (SES-DF) apply a mini-course of SIDRA to students of the University of Brasília (UnB). At 10 am, a SES-DF team takes part in the release of the results of the Project Peoples of Characterization of Traditional Territories, coordinated by Fiocruz and IBAMA.
