IBGE Schedule for the week of September 23 to 27 is now available

The IBGE Schedule for this week, released today (23), includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, the Directorates and Advisory Boards, the State Superintendencies of the IBGE, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since January, the Institute's weekly Schedule has been available every Monday at 9 am. Check out the full schedule for this week on the IBGE Agenda news channel.
Presidency
On Monday (23), throughout the day, the Presidency will participate in the BRICS 2024 Seminar on Governance and the Cultural Exchange Forum.
On Tuesday (24), at 2 pm, it will be present at the event "Sustainable Journey: socio-environmental indicators - the role of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Public Administration", hosted by the Ministry of Management and Innovation.
On Wednesday (25), throughout the day, the Presidency team will travel to participate in a meeting at the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS). At 9 am, the Presidency team will participate in the Institutional Relations meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs).
On Thursday (26), at 9:30 am, the National Commission for the SDGs will hold a regular meeting.
On Friday (27), at 8:30 am, the Presidency team will participate in a follow-up meeting on the SDG consultancy.
Directorates and Advisory Boards
On Monday (23), throughout the day, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team will participate in the XXIII National Meeting on Population Studies. Also throughout the day, members of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in a meeting and fieldwork with the Planning Secretariat of Sergipe. And the team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will participate in the Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Population Studies (ABEP).
On Tuesday (24), at 9 am, the team from the Executive Directorate (DE) will participate in a meeting of the Technical Committee of the Census of Agriculture. At 10 am, representatives from the DPE will participate in the 7th Meeting of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Business and Trade Statistics (UNCEBTS), in Geneva, Switzerland. At 2 pm, ENCE will participate in the meeting of the Direct Money in Schools Program (PDDE) of the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE). Throughout the day, the DPE team will be present at the training workshop on providing information on sun and sea tourism.
On Wednesday (25), throughout the day, the DPE team will participate in a meeting with the National Treasury Secretariat. At 11 am, representatives of the DGC will participate in the Webinar “Climate Change and Disaster Metrics in Latin America and the Caribbean: Progress and Challenges”. At the same time, the ENCE team will participate in a project meeting with the Ministry of Health. At 2 pm, ENCE professors will participate in a follow-up meeting with the Statistics teams of the United Nations Population Fund consultancy.
On Thursday (26), throughout the day, representatives of the DPE will participate in the online seminar Exploring Social Relationships and Connectedness, organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Also throughout the day, the DGC team will participate in a meeting of the Cerrado Biosphere Reserve Committee. At 8 am, representatives of the DGC will participate in the 7th Technical Cooperation Seminar. At 1 pm, members of ENCE will participate in a consultation meeting on the use of Big Data.
On Friday (27), throughout the day, the DPE team will participate in the Mercosul Cultural Ordinary online meeting. At 10 am, the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) will hold an online press conference for the Continuous Monthly National Household Sample Survey (Continuous PNAD). At 11 am, the DGC team will participate in a meeting with representatives of EG-ISGI.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (23), at 11 am, the team from the Alagoas State Superintendency (SES/AL) will participate in a meeting with the Presidency of Companhia Docas de Santana, to discuss the renewal of the Technical Cooperation Agreement with IBGE, at the company's headquarters in the city of Santana.
On Tuesday (24), at 10 am, representatives from the Bahia State Superintendency (SES/BA) will participate in a TransformaGov meeting.
On Thursday (26), at 1 pm, a team from the Ceará State Superintendency (SES/CE) will participate in a presentation of IBGE's digital tools at the University of Fortaleza (Unifor).
