Interactive information stand is available for use at the main lobby of UERJ

The information stand, which is part of a project intended to facilitate the access of the population to statistical and geographic information produced by the IBGE, was inaugurated by the president of the Institute and the rector of the University. Besides presenting information produced by the IBGE, it can also be used by people to register for the national Conference of Data Producers and Users.

"This partnership with the IBGE is a great step for us, to make information available to students. Besides the information stand, we plan to have a room where one will be able to access IBGE indicators, and I believe that will be one more opportunity for these two institutions to strengthen ties. I would like to invite all of you to join the Conference scheduled for the end of June, and to participate in the initiatives we are offering,” said the rector of UERJ, Gulnar Azevedo e Silva.
