IBGE releases schedule for the week of 17th to 23rd of June

The Brazilian Institute of Gepgraphy and Statistics released today (17), the IBGE Schedule for the week of June 17th to 23th. The document covers internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the different areas of the Institute, from the Presidency, through the IBGE Directorates and Advisories, its State Superintendencies, to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since January, the weekly schedule has been published every Monday at 9 am. Please, check the Institute's complete schedule for this week on the IBGE Schedule information channel.

Presidency

At the Presidency, the week begins with a national trip to participate in the System of Health Accounts (SHA) workshop: exploring its potential and the progress of the institutionalization process, on Monday (17), at 10 am. At 3 pm, the Presidency will participate in an online Internal Affairs event: Correctional Maturity, with a presentation of the E-AUD System for correctional maturity.

On Tuesday (18), at 9 am, the Presidency team will travel to participate in the National Social Technology Week: a strategy for the country's social development, the event will be held at Fundação Banco do Brasil. At 3:30 pm, the Presidency participates in a meeting with the State Minister of Communications and the CEOs of the companies VIVO, CLARO, TIM.

On Wednesday (19), at 10 am, an online meeting will take place with the Statistics Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). At 3 pm, they attend an internal affairs event: Workshop with the Comptroller-General of the Union (CGU) on the E-AUD presented on Monday.

On Thursday (20), at 9 am, the Presidency will participate in a videoconference of the Technical Committee of the Project Reference Centers in Africa .

On Friday (21), at 2 pm, the Presidency participates in an internal meeting to discuss the preliminary list for the 12th Census of Agriculture.

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (17), at 2 pm, a team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in a meeting on activity and research in Rio Grande do Sul.

On Tuesday (18), at 10:30 am, a team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will participate in an event by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), on Climate Change Statistics and Indicators. At 2 pm, representatives from the DGC participate in a planning meeting for the restructuring of the National Cartography Commission (CONCAR). Throughout the day, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team participates in meetings with the National Treasury Secretariat and CONAC.

Also on Tuesday (18), at 11 am, the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in a Webinar on Data Hub. At 2 pm, the annual “Ence Open Doors (EPA)” event will be held, which welcomes students and teachers from schools to get to know the National School of Statistical Sciences (Ence). On this day, a team from the Center  for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) travels to Piauí to participate in the Federative Caravan.

On Wednesday (19), at 10 am, representatives from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participate in a meeting on Food Security in Brazil with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). At 10:30 am, the team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in the Lecture "Racial and gender inequality: data, challenges, need for solutions". At 11 am representatives from DPE participate in a meeting of the BIANNUAL PINTEC Project, with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI). On the same day and time, the team from the Center  for Information Documentation and Dissemination (CDDI) participates in a meeting with the company Salesforce.

Also on Wednesday (19), at 10 am, a team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participates in the meeting “Favelas and Poor Urban Communities Exhibition - IBGE and Museu das Favelas”. At 1 pm, the DGC team participates in a meeting of the UN-GGIM: Americas. At 2 pm, the DGC team participates in a meeting with Mapa das Periferias. And, throughout the day, the 1st Congress  of Challenges of Wine Tourism will be held in the State of Rio de Janeiro, where members of the DGC will give a lecture on "Geographical Names in Geographical Indications". The event will be held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

On Thursday (20), at 11am, the DPE team will participate in the 2nd Meeting of the Mercosul Statistical Plan. On the same day and time, the DPE team participates in a videoconference event on Business Dynamics, Demography and Entreprenneurship promoted by the United Nations Statistics Division.

On Friday (21), at 10:30 am, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team participates in a meeting with the UN Steering Group of the Task Team on Data Scanner. At 1:30 pm, a team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) participates in an online meeting with representatives from Columbia University.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (17), at 9 am, representatives of the State Superintendency of Alagoas (SES/AL), participated in the Sector Chamber of the Milk and Dairy Product Production Chain, at the State Secretariat of Agriculture of the State of Alagoas. At 10 am, the SES AL team participates in the course on COP30 and 2030 Agenda. On the same day and time, the team from the Brasília State Superintendency (SES/DF) participates in a meeting with the Forest Fire Prevention and Combat Group (PPCIF), in the Brasília Botanical Garden.

On Tuesday (18), at 8 am, the Maranhão State Superintendency team participates in a workshop on enumeration areas and QGIZ at UEMA.  At 2 pm, representatives of the State Superintendency of Amapá (SES/AP), participate in the online lecture “Gender issues: challenges in the workplace from the perspective of the General Ombudsman”, at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

On Friday (21), at 8 am, the team from the Bahia State Superintendency (SES/BA) participates in the 2nd Workshop in Salvador of the “IDEAtlas Escola Politécnica da UFBA” project.
