IBGE expands survey and partnership network on third day of External Dialogues in Brasília

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) held in Brasília (DF) this Thursday, 25th, the third day of External Dialogues meetings, part of the IBGE 90 Dialogues Project, expanding the Institute's survey and partnership network.
President Marcio Pochmann participated in the celebration of the 51st anniversary of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), with which IBGE signed, at the ceremony, a protocol of intentions aiming to intensify the partnership between the Institute and the Corporation to expand surveys and integration of data that supports the development and internationalization of Embrapa’s production.
Afterwards, Pochmann met with the Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, and team, on which occasion he presented the world map to the minister with Brazil at the center of the projection, and discussed IBGE budgetary issues and the development of the Work Plan of the Institute for 2024.
At the National Confederation of Agriculture, Mr. Pochmann met with the CEO of SENAR (Brazilian National Rural Learning Service), Daniel Carrara, and with the technical director Bruno Lucchi, to expand sectoral dialogue in the preparations for the 12th Census of Agriculture and other surveys related to the field and agribusiness.
Then, about the Census of Agriculture, the president of IBGE met with the deputy secretary of the Secretariat of Innovation, Sustainable Development, Irrigation and Cooperativism of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
