2022 Census
IBGE will release new results of the 2022 Census

Diadema, in the state of São Paulo, was the municipality chosen by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) to house the release of results of the 2022 Population Census, based on information from the universe questionnaire (administered in all the housing units in Brazil). The event, which was organized in partnership with the Municipal Government of Diadema, will be held on February 23rd, at 10 am, at Clara Nunes Theater, at 300 Graciosa St.
The release will present information about forms of water supply, garbage disposal, type of sewage disposal, existence of a bathroom or toilet and of piped water supply, making it possible to characterize housing units and the population’s living conditions. The information will also be disaggregated by color or race and age groups of the population.
The data will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, Municipalities and other lower levels of geography. The results can be accessed on the IBGE website and on SIDRA, and on the Census Overview and the Interactive Geographic Platform (PGI), where visualization by means of interactive maps will also be available.
