President creates Work Group to enhance security measures for dissemination of IBGE products

The President of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, by means of Ordinance no. 169 of January 29, established the Dissemination Work Group (GT- Disseminação) to redefine the institutional protocols for the publication and dissemination of IBGE products, aiming at enhancing security measures already adopted by the Institute.
The creation of this work group follows a recommendation by the IBGE Board of Directors, after considerations based on the Reading of the preliminary report “Event for Update of Windows Version in the SIDRA server” (available here), produced by the Information Technology Directorate (DTI), in response to a request from the President after the release of IPCA–15 results were advanced by one hour, on January 26.
The Dissemination Work Group is expected to present a proposal with new institutional protocols for the dissemination of IBGE products within a period of 30 days, extendable for another 30 days.
The Internal Audit team will monitor the implementation of the necessary measures.
