Last days to enroll in IBGE´s free distance course for public managers

Enrollment for the course of Public policies in the digital era: Mastering IBGE data, aimed at public managers, closes next January 10 at the IBGE Virtual Store on https://loja.ibge.gov.br. Enrollment might close before that date in case the maximum number of participants is hit (1,000).
It is an unprecedented course with a 8-hour workload through the EAD (Distance Learning) platform of the IBGE´s National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE/IBGE). Municipal and state managers can take part, among them: mayors, secretaries, legislators, advisors and assisting persons from several areas - administration, legal, health, education, security and agriculture, among others. Secondary education is required.
The objective is to train public managers to use the intelligence tools of SIDRA (IBGE System of Automatic Recovery) system, a platform that allows different queries, production of graphs, cartograms and charts, among other possibilities. Queries can be made in the state, municipality or region by crossing data and indicators, deepening the knowledge of their own territories, as well as by developing automatic queries, with on-line results, from their own demands and challenges of the public administration.
Beyond the SIDRA platform, this course will show a number of channels on the portal, with economic, social, health and agricultural indicators, as well as products available for download in digital format or with a low cost, in the case of printed works.
The course of Public policies in the digital era: Mastering IBGE data will provide a certificate from ENCE, a center of excellence for more than 70 years, with undergraduate, master and PhD programs ranked in CAPES, as well as in the international area, having trained thousands of managers and researchers.
Enrollment is open until January 10, 2024 through the IBGE Virtual Store: https://loja.ibge.gov.br
There will be two on-line classes, with 500 seats each, on February 1 and 2, 2024. They will include two modules, being the first one from 8 AM to 12 PM, and the second one, from 2 PM to 6 PM. By the end of enrollment, participants will be informed on the days of their respective classes.
