With IBGE's participation, Federative Caravan goes to Ceará in December

On the 7th and 8th of December, the sixth edition of the Federative Caravan will be held in Fortaleza-CE. The event, which makes Federal Government services available to the population, has already visited five other Federation Units, and now is going to give assistance to representatives of the 184 municipalities in Ceará. Several public bodies will be exhibiting their services at the Ceará Events Center, through lectures, workshops and technical assistance.
The IBGE will have its own stand at the event. The assistance will be carried out by the team of servants from the IBGE State Superintendence in Ceará (SES/CE); from Fortaleza and the interior of the state, who will be present to welcome municipal and state managers, answer their questions and give visibility to the Institute's actions. “It is an event of great importance for our State, where we will be able to showcase each of the municipalities”, celebrates Francisco Lopes, Superintendent of SES/CE. “Mayors, municipal secretaries, councilors, secretaries of State and congresspeople will be able to provide assistance, engage initiatives and go to the IBGE stand where we will present the country's data”, he adds.
At the IBGE stand, visitors will have access to online services, the institutional portal and other databases and information channels. The servants will also be available to present the results of the 2022 Population Census and data from the Institute's other surveys. In addition, kits with folders, information and other gifts will be distributed to visitors.
The Federative Caravan
The Federative Caravan is an initiative of the Special Secretariat for Federative Affairs (SEAF) that aims at fostering greater integration between federal, state and municipal governments, establishing a communication channel and enabling cooperation in actions.
With the theme “Unity and reconstruction towards new federative relations”, the project has already visited five capitals since August this year: Salvador (BA), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Porto Alegre (RS), Palmas (TO) and São Luís (BAD). The Ceará edition is the last one in 2023, with Caravans planned for next year in the other Federation Units.
