IBGE Schedule for February 17-21 now available

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (17) a new edition of the IBGE Schedule for the week of February 17-21. The schdule presents events, internal and external meetings and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
Since January 2024, the IBGE weekly schedule has been released every Monday at 9 am and includes the activities for the days following its publication. Check the complete schedule for this week on IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On Monday (17), at 3 pm, a team from the Presidency will participate in the weekly meeting of the General Division for Census Operations (GCE).
On Tuesday (18), at 11:30, representatives from the Presidency will participate in the SDG 17 meeting - Partnership and Means of Implementation. At 2:30 pm, a team from the Presidency will participate in a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA), about SDG Indicators.
On Wednesday (19), at 10 am, therw will be the online event of the 56th Session of the UN Statistical Commission: nter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs).
On Thursday (20), at 11 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in a meeting with the Portugal National Institute of Statistics on planning of the publication Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP in Figures/Special SDG edition).
On Friday (21), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in a meeting with the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA) about the indicator 15.3.1. Land Degradation.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (17), at 8 am, members of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a technical meeting of BRICS. At 4 pm, professors from the National School of Statistical Sicences (ENCE) will participate in a meeting of the project Climate Change Indicators using Artificial Intelligence.
On Tuesday (18), at 9 am, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will be attending the meeting between CGED and UFRS about the WORKSHOP of Integration of Altimetric Data for Climate Resilience in Rio Grande do Sul. Meanwhile, representatives from ENCE will be at the 3rd Ordinary Meeting of the National Commission for Population and Development (CNPD), in Brasília (DF)
Also on Tuesday, throughot the day, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will be attending the side event NSC56 | UN-CEAG: Update on the World Programme of the Census of Agriculture 2030 and Agricultural Science and Technology indicators. At 2:30 am, a team from the Executive Directorate (DE) will participate in a meeting with the ministry of Management and innovation in Public Services (MGI) for discussion on the implementation of AvaliaGOV at the IBGE.
On Wednesday (19), at 2pm, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the 56th Session of StatCom: Regional Positioning - Census.
on Thursday (20), at 9:30, professors from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) will be at a Doctoral Defense at UFRJ-PROURB.
On Friday (21), at 12 pm, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in a meeting of the UN Task Team on Scanner Data.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (17), at 2 pm, representatives of the IBGE State Superintendency in Bahia (SES/BA) give an on-line class, Zênite, "05 TCU analyses with a greater impact on hirings." At 7:30 pm, a team from SES/BA will participate in the live entitled "Population Aging: Everyday Challenges”, promoted by the Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (CREFITO).
On Wednesday (19), at 10 am, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL) participates in a meeting of REAGRO at the Secretariat of Agriculture of Craíbas.
On Friday (21), at 8 am, a team from the IBGE State Superintendency of Goiás (SES/GO) participates in a training of the system of Weighting Areas (APOND) and logistics planning for visits to municipal government facilities.
