In the first collection week of the Census of Agriculture, more than forty thousand questionnaires were answered in the nearly two thousand Brazilian municipalities that have already received the field operation.

The IBGE president, Roberto Olinto Ramos, and the president of the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock, João Martins, were present at the census taking of the first agricultural property in the municipality of Santo Amaro, Bahia.
