The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) today (June 1st) released the IBGE Agenda for the week of June 1st to 5th. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events, and appointments from various areas of the Institute, including the Presidency, Directorates, Advisory Offices, State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since 2024, the IBGE Agenda has been published every Monday at 9 am, and includes the calendar for the coming days, starting from the date of publication. See the complete activities on the Agenda IBGE Schedule information channel.

Presidency

On Monday (June 1st), during the whole day, members of the Presidency will participate in a Horizontal Cooperation visit between the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and the IBGE Brazil.

On Tuesday (2), at 2 pm, representatives from the Presidency will participate in a schedule meeting for the National Census of Homeless Population.

On Wednesday (3), at 9:30 am, the Presidency team will participate in a follow-up meeting with the Operational Database (BDO) team.

On Thursday (4), at 10:30 am, members of the Presidency will participate in the Webinar "Implementing AI at INSEE: Navigating Between Promise and Complexity".

On Friday (5), during the whole day, representatives from the Presidency will participate in a Horizontal Cooperation visit between the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and the IBGE Brazil.

Directorates and Advisory Offices

On Monday (1), all day long, a team from Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will participate in the Colombian DANE – IBGE Brazil Horizontal Cooperation visit.

On Tuesday (2), at 2 pm, representatives from the DPE will participate in a meeting on the Schedule of the National Census of the Population Experiencing Homelessness.

On Wednesday (3), all day long, members of the DPE will participate in the Latin American Regional Meeting on Measuring the Effectiveness of Anti-Corruption Agencies.

On Thursday (4), all day long, a team from the DPE will participate in a Cooperación Horizontal visit with the Colombian DANE.

On Friday (5), all day long, a team from the DPE will participate in a Cooperación Horizontal visit with the Colombian DANE.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (1), all day long, members of the Espírito Santo State Superintendency (SES/ES) will collect suveys data from the agencies.

On Tuesday (2), all day long, representatives from the Minas Gerais State Superintendency (SES/MG) will be collecting survey data from the agencies.

On Wednesday (3), all day long, the team from the Mato Grosso do Sul State Superintendency (SES/MS) will be collecting survey data from the agencies.

On Thursday (4), at 8 am, members of the Pará State Superintendency (SES/PA) will be supervising Economic Surveys, Vital Records Surveys, and Territorial Updates for Municipalities.

On Friday (5), all day long, representatives from the Santa Catarina State Superintendency (SES/SC) will be collecting survey data from the agencies.
