IBGE releases weekly schedule for May 18-22

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (18) a new edition of the IBGE Schedule for the week of May 18-22. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since 2024, the IBGE Schedule is released every Monday at 9 am and includes the schedule for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.

Presidency

On Monday (18), at 10 am, members of the Presidency will participate in a management meeting of the General Coordination of Census Operations (CGOC).

On Tuesday (19), at 2 pm, representatives of the Presidency will participate in an ordinary meeting on the schedule of the National Census of Population Experiencing Homelessness.

On Wednesday (20), at 9:30 am, the Presidency team will participate in a monitoring meeting with the Operational Database (BDO) team.

On Thursday (21), at 2 pm, members of the Presidency will participate in a technical alignment meeting for the 12th Census of Agriculture.

On Friday (22), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting on the launch of PP1 of the National Census of Population Experiencing Homelessness.

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (18), all day long, the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) team will join the visit of representatives of INE Cuba in the pilot test of the Census of Agriculture, in Goiás.

On Tuesday (19), all day long, DPE members will participate in the workshop on IBGE/SUDENE cultural statistics with Leonardo Athias.

On Wednesday (20), at 10 am, the Division of Social Communication (CCS) team will release the Estimates of Underregistration of Births and Deaths 2024.

On Thursday (21), at 10 am, the CCS team will release the Series of Methodological Reports on Structural Surveys in Enterprises.

On Friday (22), at 10 am, the CCS team will release Brazil's Economic Indicators.

State Superintendencies

On Monday (18), all day long, members of the State Superintendency of Espírito Santo (SES/ES) will participate in supervision activities of surveys by branches.

On Tuesday (19), at 2:30 pm, representatives from the State Superintendency of Bahia (SES/BA) will participate in the “Mine Map” training for the Secretariat of Administration (SAEB).

On Wednesday (20), all day long, the team from the State Superintendency of Mato Grosso do Sul (SES/MS) will collect data for agricultural, business, social, household surveys and address file.

On Thursday (21), at 8 am, representatives of the State Superintendency of Santa Catarina (SES/SC) will collect the Continuous National Household Sample Survey (PNADC) in the municipalities.

On Friday (22), all day long, members of the State Superintendency of the Federal District (SES/DF) will participate in a field course for UEGO geography students at Recor.
