Registrations open for the greatest IBGE's selection process for its regular data collection network: 10,000 temporary positions

Registration open for 9,590 temporary job positions at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), in household, economic and geoscientific surveys. The website of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), organization contracted to conduct the selection process, will registering applicants from 4 pm on November 19, 2025 until 11:59 pm on December 11, 2025.
The notices for the simplified selection processes for the positions of Survey and Mapping Agent (APM) and Collection and Quality Supervisor (SCQ) were published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) this Wednesday (19). The selection process involves a multiple-choice objective test, which will be administered on February 22, 2026.
According to the president of the IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, “the new simplified selection processes reinforce IBGE's commitment to producing reliable and up-to-date information, essential for the formulation of public policies, territorial planning, and decision-making in various areas of society, strengthening the Brazilian Statistical and Geographic System.”
The tests will be administered in person in all municipalities where the positions are available. The FGV will administer the test in two shifts, allowing candidates to take the tests for both positions. In the morning, the test for the APM position will be administered, and in the afternoon, the test for the SCQ position.
São 8.480 vagas para Agente de Pesquisas e Mapeamento (APM), sendo 5.512 vagas destinadas à Ampla Concorrência, 2.120 às pessoas autodeclaradas pretas ou pardas (25%), 254 às indígenas (3%), 170 aos quilombolas (2%) e 424 às pessoas com deficiência (5%). A remuneração é de R$ 2.676,24, e as atribuições envolvem coleta de dados estatísticos em domicílios e estabelecimentos, o apoio a levantamentos geográficos e cartográficos, o registro e transmissão de informações em sistemas eletrônicos e a elaboração de relatórios.
Já para Supervisor de Coleta e Qualidade (SCQ), são ofertadas 1.110 vagas temporárias. São 715 vagas destinadas à Ampla Concorrência, 275 às pessoas autodeclaradas pretas ou pardas (25%), 33 às indígenas (3%), 22 aos quilombolas (2%) e 55 às pessoas com deficiência (5%). A remuneração é de R$ 3.379. Entre as atribuições, estão planejamento e a gestão das atividades de coleta, a supervisão das equipes e da qualidade dos dados, a avaliação técnica dos questionários e a elaboração de relatórios. Para serem contratados nesta função, os aprovados devem ter Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH) categoria B dentro do prazo de validade.
Benefícios - Para ambos os cargos, são assegurados benefícios como Auxílio Alimentação (no valor de R$ 1.175); Auxílio Transporte; Auxílio Pré-escolar; férias proporcionais e 13º salário proporcional.
