In Brasília (DF), IBGE puts out political structure of the states to deal with Racial Inequality

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release the results of the 2024 Municipal (MUNIC) and State (ESTADIC) Basic Information Surveys on October 31st, at 10:00 am, in Brasília (DF). The public press conference will be held in the Anna Peliano Auditorium, at the headquarters of the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA) - 50 Brasilia Business Center, SEPS QD 702/902, Tower A.
The release contains information on the organizational structure, management tools, profile of managers, services offered, and specific legislation of the public administration of the 5,570 municipalities. For the first time, information on Racial Equality will be released, as well as a special chapter on the climate event that affected Rio Grande do Sul last year. It also includes information on the organizational structure, management tools, profile of managers, services offered, and specific legislation of the public administration of the 27 Federation Units.
The release will also be broadcast on the Institute's social media channels and on the IBGE Portal, in the IBGE Digital section. The results will be accessible on the IBGE portal and on platforms such as SIDRA.
Data collection took place from August to December 2024, and the Racial Equality Section was developed and operationalized through a partnership between the IBGE and MIR, within the scope of Decentralized Execution Agreement No. 02/2023. The final results of the surveys will be released on October 31st at an in-person event.
