The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (25) the IBGE Schedule. This edition includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) for the week of August 25-29.
For one year, the IBGE weekly schedule is released every Monday at 9 am and includes the schedule for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On Monday (25), at 3 pm, an IBGE´s Presidency team participates in the weekly meeting of the Department of Address File (GCE).
On Tuesday (26), at 10 am, representatives of the Presidency take part in the launching of the Sectoral Plan of Prevention and Fight Against Moral and Sexual Harassment and Discrimination at the IBGE.
On Wednesday (27), at 9:30 am, members of the Presidency participate in a follow-up meeting of the Operational Database (BDO). At 2 pm, a Presidency´s team meets representatives of the State Superintendencies to discuss the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census.
On Thursday (28), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency take part in a meeting of the Technical Committee of Reference Centers in Africa. At 4:30 pm, members of the Presidency participate in the round table "How to prepare Brazil for the population transition" at the VIII Southeast´s Economy Meeting.
On Friday (29), at 10 am, a Presidency´s team participates in a meeting of Risk Management Group in the Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census. At 2 pm, representatives of the Presidency are present at a meeting of the Training Working Group of the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (25), at 9 am, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) take part in a meeting of the Prodlist Industry Revision - version 2025. At 2 pm, ENCE teachers carry out the Dissertation Seminar of the 2024 Class.
On Tuesday (26), at 7 am, ENCE teachers participate in a meeting of the Brics Journal. At 2 pm, ENCE representatives take part in a regular meeting of the Letre-se Research Group.
On Wednesday (27), at 7 am, ENCE members participate in a round table on Artificial Intelligence (AI). At 10:30, a team of the Executive Directorate (DE) takes part in a monthly national meeting of Human Resources. At 11 am, DPE representatives participate in the 63rd HUPE Scientific Congress (Pedro Ernesto University Hospital).
On Thursday (28), at 9 am, ENCE teachers take part in a meeting of the UNCEBD Advisory Council. At 9:30 am, an ENCE team participates in the meeting 2022 Population Census Addresses and Localities in Rio de Janeiro.
On Friday (29), at 2 pm, DPE members take part in a PeNSE lineup meeting of the Ministry of Health (MS).
State Superintendencies
On Monday (25), at 10 am, a team of the State Superintendence of São PAULO (SES-SP) carries out a meeting of the Agricultural Statistics (REAGRO) in the municipalities of the state.
On Friday (29), at 2 pm, a team of the State Superintendence of Bahia (SES-BA) carries out the Coffee with Knowledge meeting.
