The action is another step in to strengthen the partnership between the IBGE and the Federal Data Processing Service - Serpro to consolidate the predictive public policies project.
"Statistical and geoscientific intelligence and governance are an integral part of the construction of the National System of Geosciences, Statistics and Data (Singed). The new website presents the history of experimental surveys already underway and new surveys through which the IBGE, in partnership with several public institutions, will provide support for predictive public policies", highlights IBGE president Marcio Pochmann.
The National Program proposes a new approach to the use of statistical and geoscientific data, focusing on anticipating future scenarios. With the support of advanced technologies and predictive analysis, the program seeks to strengthen the State's capacity to identify problems and opportunities, offering a more solid basis for the formulation of effective, sustainable public policies aimed in the medium and long term.
The launch of the National Program, which is considered a milestone in the relations between different spheres of government in favor of innovation in public policies, took place on June 24th, in Brasília. At the event, the inclusion of eight institutions to the Program was announced.
