IBGE Schedule for the week of June 23-27 already available

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (23) the IBGE Schedule for the week of June 23-27. The IBGE Schedule brings events, internal and external meetings and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
For one year, the IBGE weekly schedule is released every Monday at 9 am and includes the schedule for the days after the day it is published. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.
Presidency
On Monday (23), at 8 am, a Presidency´s team participates in a technical meeting on the Central-West Region, in Campo Grande (MS). At 9 am, representatives from the Presidency take part in a meeting of the IAEG SDGs Task Team on Lessons Learned.
On Wednesday (25), at 9 am, members the Presidency participated in a meeting of the Group of Experts in sustainable Development Goals Indicators (IAEG-SDGs). At 2:30 pm, a Presidency’s team take part in the Seventh Ordinary Meeting of the National Commission of the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS-CNODS), in Brasília (DF).
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (23), at 10 am, representatives from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participate in the 3rd National Meeting of Officers. At 14 pm, members of the Executive Directorate (DE) meet representatives of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI). During the entire day, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) takes part in the 5th Technical Meeting with experts in indigenous themes.
Still on Monday, during the entire day, the National Statistical Office of Mozambique (INE Mozambique) will visit the IBGE headquarters. The visit will take the entire week.
On Tuesday (24), during the entire day, DPE members participate in a meeting of the Sea GDP WG: Actions for Releasing Fishing in the Sea GDP WG. At 2 pm, DGC representatives carry out the course "The Integration of Geospatial and Statistical Information and its Benefits to Society". At 2:30 pm, ENCE teachers participate in the seminar "Population Projections for Brazilian Municipalities (2025-2040): An Application of the Cohort Relation Method", of the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA).
On Wednesday (25), during the entire day, DPE representatives take part in the 20th Meeting of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting (UNCEEA).
On Thursday (26), at 8 am, ENCE teachers participate in the workshop of the IBGE project "Multiple and Dynamic Environmental and Socioeconomic Processes in Brazil based on the 2022 Population Census", at the Brazilian School of High Studies of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (CBAE-UFRJ). At 10 am, a DE team carries out a Petrvs training.
On Friday (27), at 10 am, the Division of Social Communication (CCS) carries out the press releases of the Monthly Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Monthly Continuous PNAD). At 2 pm, DGC representatives take part in a meeting on the alignment of national goals of the Climate Adaptation Plan.
Still on Friday, at 2 pm, the workshop "A territory of information: potentialities of the 2022 Census data", in Brasília (DF), presenting interactive tools, the Interactive Geographic Platform (PGI) and the Environmental Information Database (BDiA).
State Superintendencies
On Thursday (26), at 9 am, a team of the State Superintendence of Rio Grande do Sul (SES-RS) carries out a seminar launching the final test of the survey on the 2024 flood in RS.
On Friday (27), at 2 pm, a team of the State Superintendence of Santa Catarina (SES-SC) will present the National Survey of Basic Sanitation (PNSB) at the City Hall of Balneário Arroio do Silva.
