IBGE board hosts union in meeting at the headquarters

On Friday morning, 25, at the the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics´ headquarters, the IBGE´s board hosted a delegation from ASSIBGE, the union representing IBGE´s workers.
Represented on-site by 12 leaders, among representatives from the national union and the Chile Avenue site, and eight remote participants, the meeting was led by Flavia Vinhaes, IBGE´s Vice-President and Acting President.
In the meeting, the IBGE´s board received demands from the union representatives in themes like work type, movement to Serpro´s building and issues related to the IBGE´s Foundation to Support Technological and Scientific Innovation (IBGE+ Foundation).
Vinhaes highlighted the importance of the meeting to resume the propositional dialogue on key agendas of interest of officers and management, as well as asked the formal demands to be assessed by the IBGE´s board and scheduled the next meeting for the first week of November.
