IBGE releases schedule for September 9-13

Released today (9), the IBGE Schedule includes the Institute's activities for the week of September 9 to 13. The edition made available includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, the IBGE Directorates and Advisory Boards, the State Superintendencies, and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).
The IBGE Schedule was launched in January and is released every Monday at 9 am. The Institute's full schedule is available on the IBGE Schedule news channel.
Presidency
On Monday (9), at 10 am, the Presidency will participate in the launch of the project “Environmental and climate change indicators”.
On Tuesday (10) at 10 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a meeting with the Petrobrás Social Security Foundation (Petros). At 3 pm, they will have a meeting with the National Regulatory Agency for Private Health Insurance and Plans (ANS).
On Wednesday (11), at 9 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in the monthly meeting of the group of experts and Interagencies about the Sustainable Development Indicators (IAEG-SDGs). At 10 am, they will meet with the Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
On Thursday (12), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency participate in a videoconferencing of the Technical Committee of the Project Centers of Reference in Africa.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (9), at 10 am, a team from the directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in a meeting of the Technical Sub-Commission for the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE-Subclasses) with representatives of the Brazilian Association of Social Events (ABRAFESTA). At 5 pm, a team from the DPE participates in a meeting to present the results of the 6th National Conference of Food and Nutritional Security (6th CNSAN).
Also on Monday, during the day, a team from the DPE will join a meeting of the of the UN Groups on Privacy Enhancing Technologies.
On Tuesday (10), at 9 am, members of the Executive Directorate (DE) will meet with the technical Committee of the Census of Agriculture. At 9am, at the Social Communication Coordination (CCS), there will be an online press conference of the Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA/INPC).
Also on Tuesday, all day long, a team from the DPE will participate in the Annual Seminar of National Accounts for Latin America and the Caribbean, in Chile.
On Wednesday (11), during the entire day, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participate in the 13th edition of the Evento Geopublica 2024 (Geopublic Event). At 10 am, at the Social Communication Coordination (CCS), there will be the online press conference of the Monthly Survey of Services (PMS). At 2 pm, a team from DGC will meet with the National System for the Environment (SISNAMA). At the same time, representatives of the National School of Geosciences (ENCE) participate in a follow up meeting with statistics consultants from the UNFPA.
On Thursday (12), at 9 am, at the Social Communication Coordination (CCS) gives the online press conference of the Monthly Survey of Trade (PMC). At 1 pm, a team from ENCE participates in an online meeting for consulting on the use of Big Data.
On Friday (13), at 10 am, members of the DPE participates in an online meeting about Sampling of the National Survey of Health with representatives of the Department of Epidemiological Analysis and Surveillance of Non-Communicable Diseases (DAENT). At 11 am, a team from DGC will meet with representatives of EG-ISGI.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (9), at 2 pm, representatives of the State Superintendency of Ceará (SES/CE), present digital tools of the IBGE to Library Science students at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).
Also on Monday, at 4:30 pm, representatives of the state Superintendency of Alagoas (SES/AL) present an undergraduate research seminar at the National Scholl of Statistical Sciences (ENCE): Offline IBGE Educa, about the experience at the VI Low São Francisco Scientific Expedition.
On Tuesday (10), at 9 am, there is a participation of the state Superintendent of Paraíba (SES/PB) at the State Forum of Federal Public Managers.
On Wednesday (11), at 9 am, a team from the State Superintendence of Bahia (SES/BA) participates in a round table of "Quantitative Data - Application in Scientific Research and Territorial Policies", at the Post Graduate Program in Territorial Studies of the State University of Bahia (PROET/UNEB).
On Thursday (12), at 8 am, a team of the Superintendency of CE will give a a Workshop on Sidra (IBGE System of Automatic Retrieval) at the Antonieta Siqueira State School.
