IBGE Schedule for August 19 to 23 now available

Released today (19), the IBGE Schedule brings the schedule for the week between August 19 and 23. This edition includes internal and external meetings, as well as events and appointments from several IBGE areas, from the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, State Superintendencies to the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Presidency
The week at the Presidency with the opening of the Technical Mission of Mozambique, on Monday (19), at 10:30 am. At 11 am, representatives of the Presidency will join a meeting with the Brazilian Game Developers Association. At 5 pm, the team will participate in a meeting with the Director of the Technical Cooperation and Development in Health Department (DECOOP).
On Tuesday (20), at 10 am, a team from the Presidency will participate in the meeting with the Thematic Chamber for SDG 18 (National Commission for the SDG).
On Thursday (22), at 9 am, representatives of the Presidency will participate in a videoconference for the Technical Commission for Project Reference Centers in Africa.
Directorates and Advisories
On Monday (19), at 9 am, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) will also participate in the Technical Mission for the National Statistical Office of Mozambique, an activity coordinated by the Department of Institutional Relations with a focus on a possible support for the coming Census of Mozambique. At the same time, a team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE), participates in a meeting with the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
Also on Monday, at 9 am, a team from ENCE will participate in a project of the National Supply Company (Conab).
On Tuesday (20), at 9 am, a team from the Executive Directorate (DE) will participate in an internal meeting of the Technical Committee for the Census of Agriculture. At the same time, representatives of ENCE will participate in an external event at the Ministry of Education (MEC). At 10 am, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in a Lecture at the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro, to present the IBGE surveys aimed at the business segment and conducted by the IBGE. At 2:30 pm, a team from the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE), will participate in the M&A SAN Round Table, in Brasília.
Also on Tuesday, at 3 pm, a team from the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC), participates in a meeting for the Migration from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro with IMAGEM. Throughout the day, a team from the Directorate of Surveys participates in the Ninth Meeting of the Working Group on Care and Use of Time.
On Wednesday (21), at 2:30 pm, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE), participates in the V Workshop for the Work Group for the Update of the Inter-sectorial Strategy for the Reduction of Losses and Waste of Food in Brazil. At 4 pm, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC), participates in a meeting with the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP).
On Thursday (22), at 7 am, a team from the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participates in a meeting of the task team scanner data. At 9 am, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) will join a meeting with the Division of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (DPLP) associated to the United Nations Expert Group on Geographic Names (UNGEGN). At 11am, a team from the DGC participates in a welcome meeting with SEEA EA TC for new members. At 1 pm, a team from ENCE participates in a consulting meeting on the Use of Big Data.
On Friday (23), at 11 am, representatives of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) participate in a meeting with the EG-ISGI, with Co-presidents and the Secretaries.
State Superintendencies
On Monday (19), at 8 am, at the IBGE State Superintendency in Espírito Santo (SES/ES), there will be a training for the Survey for Basic Municipal Information (Munic). At 9 am, at the State Superintendency in Maranhão (SES/MA), there will be a work meeting between the IBGE and the Civil Registry Department of the Extrajudicial Forum of Maranhão. At 10 am, at the State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL), the superintendent and two representatives will participate in a course about COP30 and the 2030 Agenda.
On Tuesday (20), at 10 am, representatives of the State Superintendency in Alagoas (SES/AL) will present IBGE Educa at the Municipal School Dr. Denisson Menezes, in Maceió (AL). At 11 am, at the State Superintendency in Goiás (SES/GO), there will be a meeting for the support discussion of the Association of Municipalities in Goiânia.
On Wednesday (21), at 2 pm, at the State Superintendence in Maranhão (SES/MA), the superintendent will participate in a meeting at the State Forum of Federal Managers in Maranhão.
