IBGE expresses solidarity with the victims of the rains in RS

The IBGE expresses, firstly, its unrestricted solidarity with the victims and populations impacted by the unprecedented rain that has hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and is willing to offer any help, within its possibilities.
Given the seriousness of the situation, the IBGE considers the decision to postpone the exams of the Unified National Public Competition (CNPU), scheduled for this Sunday, May 5th, to be right and expects that the more than one million candidates registered for positions in the Institute, and other participants, can take the test at a more appropriate time, as soon as possible, with safety and equality guaranteed to all.
