The IBGE´s board gathered this Wednesday, 17, at the IBGE´s headquarters in the city of Rio de Janeiro, aiming at aligning the actions planned in the 2024 Work Plan. The IBGE will release the 2024 Work Plan next Monday, 22 at the IBGE Branch in Guarulhos, São Paulo, with live broadcast. 

“The 2024 Work Plan is an unprecedented collective construction. The development of this plan is the result of a wide participation of all IBGE areas in the Dialogs IBGE 90 Years Project, which converged into 12 guidelines established by the staff of officers, retired persons, union members and collaborators, who contributed to the development of a new methodology in this participative, transparent and democratic Work Plan,” stated Marcio Pochmann, the IBGE´s President. 

The meeting counted with the presence of President Marcio Pochmann, Directors Marcos Mazoni, of the Directorate of Information Technology (DTI) and Flávia Vinhaes, of the Executive Directorate (DE), General-Coordinators Paulo Januzzi, of the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE), Daniel Castro, of the Center for Information Documentation and Dissemination and Coordination of Social Communication (CDDI-CCS), Bruno De Vizia, of the General-Coordination of Social Communication (CCS), Presidency advisors Denis Maracci and Luis Vitagliano, as well as of appointed Directors Ivone Batista, of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) and Elizabeth Hypolito, of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE), together with Deputy-Director of Surveys João Hallak Neto.
