The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) released today (24) the IBGE Schedule for the week of March 24-28. The document includes internal and external meetings, events and appointments of the Presidency, Directorates and Advisories, IBGE State Superintendencies and the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE).

Since January 2024, the IBGE weekly schedule is released every Monday at 9 am. Check the complete schedule for this week on channel IBGE Schedule.

Presidency

On Monday (24), at 10 am, an IBGE´s Presidency team participates in the meeting of the Commission of Planning and General Organization of the Censuses (CPO). At 2 pm, members of Presidency take part in a meeting that will present the indicator 15.3.1 (Degraded Land) to Partner Institutions.

On Tuesday (25), at 9 am, a team of the Presidency participates in a meeting of the Technical Committee of the 12th Census of Agriculture. At 9:15 am, representatives of the Presidency travel to take part in a planning meeting of the 2026 National Voluntary Report, in Brasília (DF).

On Wednesday (26), at 2 pm, a team of the Presidency participates in the 6th Ordinary Meeting of the National Commission for the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS-CNODS). At 2:30 pm, a team of the Presidency takes part in a meeting of the IBGE´s Board of Trustees.

On Thursday (27), at 2 pm, representatives of the Presidency participate in the launching event of Quilombola Brazil.

On Friday (28), a team of the Presidency meets with a team of the Directorate of Geosciences (DGC) for the presentation of the indicator 15.3.1 (Degraded Land).

Directorates and Advisories

On Monday (24), during the entire day, representatives of the Directorate of Surveys (DPE) participate of the exchange of Oceanic Accounts: "Building an Action Plan", in San Jose, Costa Rica. The event is scheduled for the entire week. At 9 am, a DPE team takes part in the Workshop of the Strategic Study of Demographic Transition, in Brasília (DF).

Also on Monday, at 9 am, ENCE teachers carried out the workshop "Evidences, Statistical Information and Public Policies in time of Artificial Intelligence". At the same time, an ENCE team participates in a meeting of the Generative Cid-IA Project.

On Tuesday (25), at 10 am, a team of the Executive Directorate (DE) participates in the Petrvs webinar (Electronic Platform for Remote Work and Systemic Vision). During the entire day, DPE members take part in the workshop Data Governance in Latin America. The event is scheduled to close on Friday.

On Wednesday (26), at 8:30 am, DGC representatives participate in an ordinary meeting of the 2022 Census Technical Committee. At 10 am, a DE team takes part in the March´s National Meeting of Human Resources.

On Thursday (27), at 9 am, ENCE teachers speak in the Federal University of the ABC (UFABC) under the theme "The Importance of Sociodemographic Data for the Development Public Policies in Brazil". At 2:30 pm, a DGC team takes part in a follow-up meeting of the activities of quality control of geospatial data in the State Superintendencies of Bahia, Federal District, Goiás, Ceará, Santa Catarina and Pará.

On Friday (28), at 9 am, the Division of Social Communication (CCS) carries out the press releases of the Monthly Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Monthly Continuous PNAD). At the same time, ENCE representatives participate in a meeting with the coordination of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Center for Artificial Intelligence applied to Public Policies (CIAP/IAPP), as well as with representatives of the Center of Studies for Public Policies (NEPP).

State Superintendencies

On Monday (24), at 9 am, members of the State Superintendence of Goiás (SES-GO) take part in the training of Supervisor of Data Collection and Quality (SCQ) of the course "Leadership for Black Women", of the National School of Public Administration (ENAP).

On Tuesday (25), during the entire day, a team of the State Superintendence of the Federal District (SES-DF) is being trained on the electronic questionnaire of the Structural Surveys by Enterprise.

On Wednesday (26), at 8 am, representatives of the State Superintendence of Bahia (SES-BA) carry out a course on the IBGE System of Automatic Recovery (SIDRA) for Master students in Environment, Water and Sanitation, of the Federal University of Bahia (UFB).

On Friday (28), at 1:30 pm, a team of the State Superintendence of Mato Grosso (SES-MT) will take part in the 1st Forum Him by Her, which will be held at the SENAI Auditorium.
