On the other hand, there were increases in information and communication (1.0%); other services (1.8%) and services rendered to families (1.7%), with the first sector recovering from the setback in October (-0.9%); the second practically recovering the loss recorded in the previous two months (-1.9%); and the last posting cumulative growth of 6.7% between May and November 2024.

The main positive impact came from the information and communication sector (6.6%), driven by increased revenue from telecommunications; software development and licensing; information technology consulting; and portals, content providers and other information services on the Internet.
The other increases came from transportation, support services to transportation and mail (2.7%); services rendered to families (5.0%); and professional, administrative and complementary services (0.4%), explained by the higher revenue from air transportation; subway transportation; cargo logistics; collective passenger road transportation under the cargo regime; and storage, in the first sector; restaurants; hotels; and theater and musical shows, in the second; and advertising space agencing; business intermediation in general through applications or e-commerce platforms; cleaning activities; surveillance and private security; and technical activities related to architecture and engineering, in the last.
The only negative influence came from other services (-1.0%), with the lowest revenue coming from auxiliary financial services; agricultural support activities; and collection of non-hazardous waste from domestic, urban and industrial sources.
In the year-to-date result, compared to the same period of the previous year, the services sector grew 3.2%, with positive rates in four of the five advertising activities and in 61.4% of the 166 types of services investigated. The remaining advances came from services rendered to families (4.7%); and other services (1.9%), explained mainly by the increase in revenue from restaurants; catering services; theater and musical shows; and hotels, in the first activity; and from securities brokerages; collection of non-hazardous waste from domestic, urban or industrial sources; credit card administration; real estate activities; and insurance, supplementary pensions and health plans, in the second. On the other hand, transportation, support services to transportation, and mailing (-1.0%) exerted the only negative influence, pressured especially by lower revenue from road freight; port and terminal management; and mailing activities.
