The advance of 1.1% of the volume of service, from June to July 2022, was followed by three of the five activities surveyed, with a highlight to transportation (2.3%), which advanced 3.9% between May and July, and to information and communication (1.1%), which recovered the slight decrease (-0.2%) of the previous month. The other expansion  in the month was with services rendered to families (0.6%), the fifth consecutive growth, with cumulative gin of 9.7% in this period. Conversely, other services (-4.2%) and professional, administrative and complementary services (-1.1%) exerted the negative influences of July.

The other advances came from services rendered to families (22.6%); professional, administrative and complementary services (4.2%); and information and communication (2.0%).

The only negative rate was that of other services (-11.3%), mainly due to the lower revenue from fund management by contract or commission; securities brokers; recovery of plastic materials; management of organized exchanges and over-the-counter markets; and financial investment advice.

In the cumulative index in the year, over the same period in the previous year, the services sector increased 8.5%, with an expansion in four out of the five activities and in 67.5% of the 166 types of services surveyed. Among the sectors, the most relevant positive contribution was that of transportation, support services to transportation and mailing (13.8%).
