In November, National Index of Civil Construction changes 0.25%

The National Index of Civil Construction (SINAPI) changed by 0.25% in November, 0.02 percentage points (pp) below the October rate of 0.27%. The cumulative rate over the last 12 months was 5.31%, slightly above the 5.30% recorded in the preceding 12 months. In November 2024, the index was 0.24%.
The national cost of construction, per square meter, increased from R$ 1,877.29 in October to R$ 1,882.06 in November, with R$ 1,075.50 related to materials and R$ 806.56 to labor force.
The materials share registered a change of 0.38%, showing a positive change of 0.07% compared to the previous month. Compared to the November 2024 index (0.41%), there was a decrease of 0.03 percentage points.
The labor force share, with only one collective agreement signed, registered the lowest rate of the year, 0.09%, falling 0.13 percentage points compared to October (0.22%). Compared to November 2024 (0.01%), there was an increase of 0.08 percentage points.
From January to November, the results were: 3.92% (materials) and 6.75% (labor force). The cumulative figures over twelve months were 4.26% for materials and 6.81% for labor force.
South and Southeast Regions register the highest monthly change in November
The South and Southeast Regions, with increases in all states, had the highest regional change in November, 0.34%. The other Regions presented the following results: 0.17% (North), 0.16% (Northeast), and 0.14% (Central-West).
Roraima registers the highest increase in November
With a collective agreement signed in the professional categories, Roraima was the state that registered the highest rate in November, 1.74%.
