In the seasonally adjusted series, seven of the fifteen areas surveyed had negative rates. In this comparison, it is worth mentioning that July 2021 (22 days) had one less business day than the same month in the previous year (23). It should also be noted that this month, there were high positive results, influenced, to a great extent, by the low basis of comparison, since in July last year, the industrial sector was pressured by the long interruptions that occurred in several industrial plants, especially due to social isolation measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
