ENCE opens enrollment for Master and PhD as of September 1st

From September 1st to October 2, the National School of Statistical Sciences - ENCE opens enrollment for the selection process of the Post-Graduation Program in Population, Territory and Public Statistics, whose new classes will begin in March 2018. Up to 24 seats will be available for Master and up to 10 seats for PhD.
Written tests will be applied on October 30 and interviews, on December 4-5. The final result will be published on December 15. ENCE provides scholarships from Capes and the IBGE for those without any remuneration. The Program is ranked at level four in the Capes assessment, both for Master and PhD.

Two are the research lines: In Population, Territory and Life Conditions, students will develop research projects focused on the study of population and territorial dynamics and of life conditions of the population, encompassing social, economic and environmental aspects. In the Production of Public Statistics line, the focus is on planning and carrying out surveys like censuses, sampling surveys and administrative records used to produce public statistics that portray the population and territorial state and dynamics, as well as life conditions of the population.
