By next Friday, December 3, the directors of geosciences institutes from Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba and Mexico will have met in IBGE to plan, implement and continue the activities of the Executive Work Group of the Permanent Committee on Geospatial Data Infrastructure for the Americas (CP-IDEA), presided over by Brazil.
One of the purposes of the meeting is to assess and disseminate information about geospatial data infrastructures in the Americas, as well as to evaluate the development stages of each one of them.
Conclusions from this meeting will help strengthen strategies of articulation, communication and collaboration to promote the production, access and use of the geospatial data of the Americas.
