The National Index of Construction, measured by IBGE in partnership with CAIXA, changed by 0.68% in June, a decline of 0.79 percentage point over May (1.47%). Similarly to the previous month, salary readjustments in some states contributed to a great extent to the results for the index. The figure accumulated in the year is 4.86% and in the last twelve months, 10.86%. The national cost by square meter is now R$ 532.39, being R$ 310.66 related to material and R$ 221.73 to man power.
