The national cost per square meter changed from R$ 557.13 to R$ 560.03, being R$ 323.26 relative to material and R$ 236.77 to labor force.  Material increased 0.19 percentage points, changing from 0.27% in May to 0.46% in June.  In the year, there was hike of 1.88% and in 12 months, 4.06%.  Labor force, even with readjustments and wage anticipations in some states, fell from 2.51% to 0.61% (1.90 percentage points).  In the year, there was hike of 4.84% and in the last 12 months, 6.78%.

Central West Region stood out with the major index

The Central West Region had hike of 1.23%, the major registered index, resulting from the collective agreements of Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul.  In the South Region, wage readjustments in Rio Grande do Sul influenced the index of June (0.86 %).

The index of the North Region (0.48%) showed the wage anticipation that was given in Rondônia. Northeast (0.39%) had an index very close to the one observed in the Southeast (0.35%). The three percentages were below the national average (0.52%).

The highest rates accumulated in the year (4.02%) and in 12 months (6.70%) were registered in the Norhteast Region.  The lowest results in these periods occurred in the South (2.15% and 3.80% respectively).
The regional costs were R$ 599.91 (Southeast); R$ 559.23 (South); R$ 537.57 (North); R$ 530.93 (Central West) and R$ 517.73 (Northeast).

Labor force readjustments influence indexes in some states

Among the state indexes, the highest, as a consequence of readjustments in labor force, were the following: 2.32% (Goiás); 2.05% (Rio Grande do Sul); 1.31% (Rondônia) because of wage anticipation, and 1.13% (Mato Grosso do Sul).

The lowest results in the month occurred in Paraná (0.07%); Paraíba (0.16%); Espírito Santo (0.16%) and Minas Gerais (0.18%).  Sergipe continued presenting the major accumulated index of the year (6.96%) and in 12 months (10.91%).
